J.Connie 2023. 11. 14. 15:30It has been reported that J-Hope of BTS, currently serving in the military, was initially considered as an emcee for a military event but the plan was eventually canceled.
According to the Ministry of National Defense, there were discussions and coordination with J-Hope's agency regarding the possibility of him hosting the final round of the International Military Cooking Competition held on the 7th. However, due to the Minister of National Defense's decision, the plan did not materialize.
Minister Shin Won-sik addressed the matter during the general meeting of the National Assembly's Budget and Accounts Special Committee, stating, "It is better and natural for BTS to fulfill their military service duties diligently, just like any other soldiers."
Additionally, he emphasized, "Moving forward, I have directed that soldiers who entered the military after a career in entertainment should not be assigned tasks beyond their designated duties." J-Hope, who began his military service in April, currently serves as an assistant instructor at the Army's 36th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center.
